Scam Phone Calls Reminder

scam 320x240Just to warn you that the bogus telephone scam is still running.  A man with an Asian accent calls you saying there is something wrong with your computer or you have a virus or malware.  If this happens to you put the phone down immediately.

I know of about a dozen people who have received these calls (myself and my wife included!).  They try to extract your bank card or paypal details out of you and then deduct £169 (in the cases I know about) from your bank account.

These links explains more:

Pass this to everyone you know - a friend or family member might fall victim to this scam.

If you have received a call and need us to check your computer for viruses, please get in touch.
